Wendy Monroe | COTA/L

Wendy Monroe, COTA/L has been in the field of pediatrics for over 20 years. Graduating from St Catherine’s University in her home state of St. Paul MN. She has experience in a variety of settings including, school, in-patient residential, in-HomeServices, and private practice. With her primary focus of pediatrics, she holds certifications in Handwriting Without Tears and the Therapeutic listening program along with experience in feeding and The social thinking curriculum. 

Wendy’s time working in the field has provided opportunities to learn about KT taping, Beckman oral motor exercises, the Wilburger Brushing program, vision therapy, the SOS approach to feeding, and many other OT protocols. Her love of learning has encouraged her to continue exploring new techniques in the field through various continuing education courses. 

In her off time, you can find Wendy going for a run or kayaking. Her and her husband Brian enjoy undertaking home edits on their home in Stafford. Together they have five boys and try to spend as much time together as everyone’s schedules allow. She is excited to be a part of the C-STARs team and help make everyday differences in the lives of children.
